I say this with modesty but, if there’s one thing I can bake really well, it’s definitely brownies. It’s an extremely easy brownie recipe and I don’t do anything out of the ordinary to make them taste amazing. I think it’s just the simplicity of the recipe and the way they’re prepared that makes them turn out delicious and better each time. I decided that I’d share “my” brownie recipe with the rest of the world because I want everyone else to be able to experience theses crusty-on-the-outside-and-chewy-on-the-inside brownies. In no way do I take any credit for this recipe. I’m pretty sure I just found it on the side of a cocoa powder package…

When I travel, I have to bring my phone loaded with apps with me. I wouldn’t even think about leaving it at home. Sounds kind of sad and a “classic teenager” type of thing to do, but if I didn’t have my phone on me while I travel alone I most likely wouldn’t be able to make it back to my hotel. Well actually, scratch that. I’d probably be to scared to leave my hotel room without my phone, and would maybe go a maximum of 20m away from the hotel. Not only is my phone on vacations a camera for my Instagram, it’s an all in one guide to destinations and restaurants, helps me…

Early mornings. When beside each other, two words that I absolutely hate. They’re the definition of restless sleep, alarm clocks, quick showers and contemplating whether or not to eat breakfast in the morning. Which if you didn’t know, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and if you skip that then you aren’t doing yourself any favour. As much as the majority of the population dreads “early mornings”, we all have to get through them at some point in our lives.  Here are some of the things I do to make my early morning routine run as smooth as possible. 1. Get enough sleep  This one is pretty much a given, but getting…

My 19th birthday was Tuesday and I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate on my blog other than with a “19 things I’ve learned at 19” post. I hope you enjoy reading and maybe (I hope!) you can take away something from this. Before I start, I just want to add that I can’t believe it’s been almost two decades since I was born. I feel like just a couple months ago I started grade 9 and now 4 years later I’m about to start university. Where did time go? I have no idea? Ok let’s start. 1. Highschool grades are everything I know lots of people are going to disagree with me…

I’ve officially been on Isotretinoin (10mg/day) for 5 weeks. If you are unaware of what Isotretinoin is, it’s the drug used in Accutane to help get rid of your pimples and acne. Have there been improvements from day 1? Yes, major improvements. Have there been improvements from last week? I don’t really think so. So what’s changed? From day 1 a whole lot. From last week nothing really. I honestly think my face got a little worse from last week, with more red pimples around my forehead and on my cheeks. The old ones from a week or two ago got replaced with new ones (sadly!). However, I think my acne has gotten better. The…
